Graduate Algebra Symposium

WHAT IS IT?

The Graduate Algebra Symposium (GAS) is a mini-conference organized and run by graduate students for graduate students. Our goal is to bring together several universities in the area to discuss Algebra research being done by graduate students. GAS provides an opportunity for graduate students at all levels to share research with one another, gain experience in giving conference-style talks, and to build a network of local researchers. This is all done in a friendly and encouraging environment. GAS is a collaboration between the University of North Texas, the University of Texas at Arlington, the University of Oklahoma and the University of Texas A&M.

WHEN & WHERE IS IT?

In Fall 2021, GAS will be held virtually via Zoom due to the continuing uncertainty surrounding COVID-19. The University of North Texas will be hosting the event this semester.

The GAS will take place on Saturday November 13.
